The SmarTruck system includes a highly customizable alert module that allows for automatic notifications or alerts to be sent to designated individuals based on predefined conditions. The “Alerts” menu comprises two submenus.

Conditions
This table view provides a quick overview of the alerts registered in the system, allowing you to edit, duplicate, or delete specific alerts using the icons at the end of each row. If conditions have already been created, they will be listed in the table view, which can be searched, filtered, and sorted as usual. If no conditions exist yet, click the “New condition+” button in the top-right corner of the screen to set up a new alert.
Clicking this button initiates the creation of a new condition. First, you need to name the condition, after which the interface allows you to configure it. The configuration page includes two panels:
- The left panel contains the trigger conditions.
- The right panel displays the alert outputs.
Adding Triggers
Click the gray “+” icon under trigger conditions to display available trigger types at the bottom of the screen. You can add triggers to the trigger field using drag-and-drop. Triggers are customizable, requiring at least one parameter to be set, with most triggers offering multiple adjustable parameters. The system supports the following trigger types:
- Battery voltage average
- Collision detected
- Collisions by specific driver
- Forklift ignition is on
- Forklift is moving
- Forklift not used
- Forklift utilization
- Instant collision detection
- Operating hours
- Operating hours since service
- Service due in a week
- Is within interval
- The current date is
Adding Alert Outputs
Click the “+” icon next to alert outputs to see the available output types at the bottom of the screen. Add outputs to the alert outputs field using drag-and-drop. The system supports the following alert output types:
- System notification
- SMS
At the top of the screen, a gray bar displays several switches. Here, you can mute, activate, or deactivate the alert currently being edited. Additionally, you can select the individuals to receive the alert from the dropdown menu.
Once you have configured the triggers, outputs, and other parameters, click the green “Save” button to finalize the alert. The new alert will then appear in the list of registered alerts.
Events
The Events submenu provides a table view for browsing alert events generated by the system. As with other table views, this one can be searched, filtered, and sorted as needed.
