BLE Beacon ATEX Datasheet
The BLE Beacon ATEX is a battery powered and easily portable device which enables BLE-based proximity detection functionalities for the SmarTag GNSS (or other BLE-compatible) devices.
The BLE-based proximity detection can provide sufficient location information in places where the GNSS-based locations are not available or reliable (by deploying BLE Beacon devices at fixed and known positions). Also, the BLE-based proximity detection can be used to acquire the relative proximity information of the surrounding assets (equipped with BLE Beacon devices) within the range of fixed and/or mobile BLE-compatible devices.
The BLE Beacon ATEX device is certified for ATEX Zone 1 applications and contains a non-replaceable and nonrechargeable battery. The battery lifetime highly depends on the configured beaconing period and transmission power. The BLE Beacon ATEX device supports variable mounting options by providing two holes for application (screw, leash, strip, etc.).
